The Blacktown Local Area Command covers approximately 62.7299 square kilometres.

The boundary follows the Eastern Creek line in a northerly direction to the intersection of Breakfast Creek, the boundary turns east along Breakfast Creek and follows this line to the intersection of Sunnyholt Road.

The boundary continues east along Turner Street then south into Northcott Street, it follows Northcott Street in an easterly direction to the intersection of Johnson Avenue.

The boundary follows Johnson Avenue in a southerly direction to the intersection of Abbott Road. It continues in an easterly direction along Abbott Road to the intersection of Old Windsor Road, the boundary follows a southerly direction along Old Windsor Road to Toongabbie Creek.

From this line it follows the creek in a westerly direction until it reaches the railway line. The border follows the railway line south to the Girraween Creek, it then follows the Girraween Creek until it meets the Great Western Highway where it travels it travels in a westerly direction to Thornley Road and travels a straight line back to the water supply pipes at Prospect Reservoir.

The most southern border is bounded by the shoreline of the Prospect Reservoir.
